Did you know that boxes of aluminum foil have tabs on both ends of the box to lock the roll in place? I can't tell you how many times I have become frustrated over the roll coming out when I tear a sheet of foil off. Not only is it on the Reynolds Wrap Aluminum Foil but it is on the store brand foils as well.

Wrap a rubber band around the handle of a large slotted spoon. Set the spoon over a small bowl by resting the tip of the spoon and the rubber band on opposite edges of the bowl.
